The FeSR is committed to contributing to the development of esports through its research. In the long term, the goal is to achieve full coverage of research in all areas of law. Currently, the focus is on civil law, labor/employment law and criminal law.

The FeSR considers itself a contact for politics, ministries and companies as well as associations and federations. In order to enable an exchange between all parties involved, the FeSR wants to create an adequate forum.
